Golf Course Management & Personal:

» Management's goal is to provide the utmost playing pleasure for all members. Therefore, the Club reserves the right to modify playing privileges without notice to or consent of the members, including: establishing or changing rules governing access, sign-up priorities and starting times with respect to the golf course and other Club facilities and other membership privileges.
» All maintenance personnel and equipment have right of way on course.
Course personnel will enforce these rules. Golfers failing to follow rules will be denied use of golf course.
All players must observe the directions of the Starter and/or Marshall when they are on duty.
The Meadowbrook management and rangers have full authority of the golf players at all times. They are responsible for maintaining the rules and regulations pertaining to the golf course and play.
» Management reserves the right to combine individuals and smaller groups into playing foursomes at its discretion.
» The course management shall have full and complete charge of the clubhouse and grounds at all times.
All complaints, criticisms or suggestions relating to the operations of the club must be in writing, signed and addressed to the Meadowbrook management.
» Violation of any of these rules or conduct in a manner prejudicial to the best interests of the Club will subject the person in violation to the disciplinary action deemed appropriate by the Club.
» Golf personnel will enforce these rules. Golfers failing to follow rules will be denied use of golf course.
The course management are authorized to determine when the golf course is unfit for golf play or use of golf carts due to weather conditions or course maintenance program.

Golfer Responsibilities:

» All players must register in the Golf Shop before beginning play.
Without exception.
» All players must have tickets from pro shop and must show ticket when requested.
» All players must observe the directions of the Starter and/or Marshall when they are on duty.
» No pets of any kind, except dogs assisting individuals with disabilities.
» Practice is not permitted on the golf course.
» The practice range, putting green, and chipping green should be used for all practice.
» "Cutting-in" is not permitted at any time.
» All play must start on the number one (1) tee at all times, unless permission otherwise is obtained from the Pro Shop.
» Golfers are responsible and liable for any injuries or property damage that result from golf balls they hit.
» Golfer must adhere to "Course closed" or "hole closed" signs without exception.
» Golfer driving golf carts are responsible and liable for injuries or property damage that result from driving in a reckless manner which is prohibited.
» Players are requested to repair ball marks, divots and trap areas after each shot.
» Players are requested to refrain from profanity and/or abusive language.
» Players must not drive into other players in any circumstances whatsoever,
Violation of any of these rules or conduct in a manner prejudicial to the best interests of the Club will subject the person in violation to the disciplinary action deemed appropriate by the Club.

Pace of Play

» Groups over four (4) players are not allowed on the course at any time.
» If a group does not keep its place on the course and loses more than one (1) clear hole on the players ahead, it must allow the following match to play through.
» Players, who stop for any reason after playing nine (9) holes, must occupy the next tee before the following group arrives at the tee or lose their position on the course.
» Speed of Play:Slow Play is not acceptable. In an effort to maximize enjoyment for all players, each group must keep up to the group in front of them. Golf is a 4-hour game but we allow 2 hours 15 minutes for each nine holes for tournaments. Any groups not keeping the pace may be asked to skip a hole. Allow faster groups to play through if there is an open hole ahead of you.
» Twosomes should not expect to play through foursomes and should not exert any pressure on the groups ahead.
» Foursomes shall have the right of way.
» Twosomes and singles will be grouped with other players, if available, at the discretion of the Golf Shop.
» Singles shall have no priority on the golf course and shall be permitted to play only at the discretion of the Golf Shop.
» During play, as soon as it is clear a ball will not easily be found, a group waiting behind must be called through. In four-ball matches (except competitions) only two players may search for a lost ball.

Golf Cart Rules

» Golf Carts are not to be driven within 30 feet of green or apron.
» Carts shall not be driven within 15 feet of tees or sand traps except where the paths are within that distance.
» Golf carts are not to be used by more than two passengers.

Practice Area Rules

» Due to personal liability, only golf irons may be used on the practice range.
» Drivers and fairways woods are permitted into the Driving net.
» Personal practice balls are not allowed.
» Range balls are not to be picked up or removed from the driving range.
» Range balls are for use on the practice ranges only.
» Golf carts are not permitted on any tee area.
» Balls must be hit from designated areas only. No hitting is permitted from the rough or sides of the practice ranges.
» Use of the Practice range for formal golf instructions is prohited without permission of Meadowbrook's Golf Club General Manager

Rain Check Rules

» If rain is in the forecast, there are no rain checks.
» A rain check may be issued only if the golf course manager deems the course unplayable.
» Players are expected to continue play during rain and/or drizzle.
» When the unplayable decision has been made, players are required to report to the golf shop so their time can be registered.
» All players requesting a rain check may be required to wait up to an hour after check-in to determine if course conditions will improve.

Additional Course Rules

» Signage is not permitted unless authorized.
» All state and local laws concerning the sale of alcoholic beverages will be strictly enforced.
» Alcoholic beverages will not be served or sold, nor permitted to be consumed, on the Club's premises during hours prohibited by law.
» Alcoholic beverages will not be sold to any person not permitted to purchase the same under the laws of the state of North Carolina.
» Alcoholic beverages will not be sold for consumption off the Club's premises.
» All food and beverage consumed on the Club Facilities must be furnished by the Club, unless otherwise permitted by the Club.
» Outside catering may be provided at the Club with the prior approval of the Club.
» Performance by entertainers will be permitted on the property of the Club only with the permission of the Club.
» Commercial advertisements shall not be posted or circulated in the Club
» Cars must be parked in designated areas only. Parking is not allowed on the roadway or in front of the Professional's shop.
» Booking of the Clubhouse for private social functions may only be done through the golf course management
» All tournament play must be approved in advance by the Club.
» Tournament requests must be made in a written request within 45 to 60 days of the tournament
» Tournament activity will control starting times on number one tee. Tournament play and scheduled activities shall take precedence over regular play.
